Cossel Farms, Inc. is a small
local business that has always been family operated. In 1991, we became
a corporation, but our history dates back to the 1970’s when we first
started selling our fresh locally grown produce and Ohio sweet corn on a
picnic table in our parent’s front yard. The family has been farming
for over 40 years now! We first started selling homegrown Ohio sweet corn,
fruits and vegetables in front of our house in North Royalton during
the 1970’s. Then in the 1980's we added firewood, mulch and topsoil to
our veggie line as more people in the Cleveland area flocked to Cossel
Farms. Our passion for farming continued and plans to expand were put
into place.
The process for building the farm market at
the corner of York and Bennett in North Royalton, Ohio, started in
1989. The development was complete in 1990, and a year later, Cossel
Farms became incorporated.
